My career and experience has been varied, initially in communications engineering, working within the R&D department of a global communications company.
I went on to graduate in Mechanical Engineering & Business management at the University of Liverpool.
I have also travelled extensively experiencing a variety of environments and cultures.
Whilst in New Zealand I managed a large team in the direct sales market promoting American Express with the Cobra Group a worldwide business marketing company. The team excelled beyond all expectations.

At the age of 57, I was bankrupt , stressed, and suffering from depression. I lost my garage business in the recession of the late 1980’s , negative equity in the housing market caused the bank to call in my working capital overdraft and the building society to repossess our house. Even the private pensions I had been paying into were taken from me and cashed in …..
….. so after over 40 years of working hard and saving for my retirement I was left with nothing – no hope – no life – no future.
In the same year Sue, who was a Catering Manager, was made redundant – her boss told her she was a luxury he couldn’t afford and he was going to have to let her go!
After many job applications, she found herself out of the job market because she was over-experienced, over-qualified and over the hill! I told her she’d reached her sell by date! …….. she was 40, overlooked and very worried about our future.
In 1993 I got a phone call from a friend offering me this opportunity, I said no thank you, two days later he called again, this time the NO was in motor trade language! On his third call, he said – This is your last chance Jeff, I won’t call again, don’t you think you owe it to Sue and the family to at least take a look? You’ve got nothing to lose, and if you like what you see, then this opportunity could change your future!
When I reached the age of 65 my government pension was just £400 a month!
Imagine surviving on that? – We earn more than that a day now!
It was the best decision I have ever made and now my business has a presence in many countries around the World. I believe that in conjunction with the other EFI leaders our combined experience will take the whole business to a new level. I am very excited about the future and look forward to meeting you personally at one of our EFI Days.

Having done A levels spectacularly poorly, I joined the Royal Navy at the age of 18 as a Weapon Engineer. My career progressed well and I was soon promoted to be an officer and eventually reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
I had many fantastic experiences in my 19 years in the RN and promotion brought obvious benefits but also many drawbacks that I had not foreseen: as with most sectors these days, there was a seemingly never-ending stream of beurocracy, politics and red tape.
I decided that I wanted something different and put in my 18 months’ notice to leave! I spent some of this time looking around at what was available and became depressed at the options – they all seemed to have all the same red tape but none of the adventure! Then I stumbled over FLP almost by accident. I was incredibly sceptical when I first met the company but was intrigued by what appeared to be possible in FLP and also by the apparent strength of the products.
It took me a while to get my head around it all but I decided to take the plunge and get stuck in! I immediately started getting good reports on the products from the people I was supplying, which was a great confidence boost, and I found the support that I received whilst getting my feet under the table was exceptional. Coming from a very structured and strict naval background I struggled with the concept of having so much freedom in my life……but I have subsequently got quite used to it (thank you very much) and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
I am now looking forward to an ever-increasing quality of life as my FLP income continues to grow but whilst my working hours are still decided by nobody but me (borrowing a term from my previous career, I now squeeze a 3 day week into 5 days!).

I left school with little to no qualifications and started my working life as an apprentice motor mechanic. Following a severe motorcycle accident I lost my job and then drifted for a few years from one employer to another. I worked for a bus company, drove forklifts, worked for a battery company and more besides.
Eventually I trained and got my HGV Class one lorry driving licence, and then for the next 15 years or so thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being King of the road. I really loved it, I loved the freedom it gave me, and could never see myself doing anything else.
Unfortunately in my early twenties I got ill and was diagnosed with Chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis. This took me on a rollercoaster ride of terrible health, many spells in hospital and more drugs than I care to remember, all of which did nothing to stop the illness, but did however cause many other health issues including Stomach Problems, Hiatus Hernia and more besides… all caused by the drugs.
Eventually due to the illness I was forced off the road and onto the Transport Management side of the haulage industry, and too be fair I really enjoyed it. Two years later and off work again due to the illness and needing a major operation my employer promised to hold my job open providing I paid for private treatment to speed up the NHS waiting list.
I opted for this and following a very painful operation, recovery, and then a hefty £4,400 bill, 15 days later my employer came to my home and promptly made me redundant. This all happened in May 1996, and I was shown the FLP opportunity in the October.
I have to admit that like most people I was very sceptical, some said cynical, but I jumped in following a proper look and as they say the rest is history. The products have had a huge impact on my health. I am no longer on over 20 drugs a day. I now take one tablet every other day, and my health is so radically improved thanks to FLP’s wonderful products.
As far as the business side of FLP goes, along with Elaine my partner we have climbed the FLP ladder of success to the position of Senior Managers, and now many years on we are so excited about what FLP has in store for us, our teams and our families.
For us it is a way of life today and we could never see ourselves doing anything else. I wake up when I’ve finished sleeping, I work when I want, I have time for me, time for Elaine and we now have time for our family which I certainly did not have before. FLP has changed my health, our financial future and now gives us what most people only dream about. It has changed our life, and it could change yours too.
