In the post, she shared author Farida’s quote which talks about how women are questioned and criticised for their decisions while men are treated differently.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced that they are heading for divorce, on October 2. Due to irreconcilable differences, the couple decided to end their four-year marriage, days ahead of their wedding anniversary. This news has been the talk of the town for the past week.
Ever since Samantha announced her separation from Naga Chaitanya, she has been receiving overwhelming support from her fans. However, some trolls are blaming her for the divorce. Taking to Instagram stories, she sent a strong message to the trolls.
She shared a quote written by author Farida, which read, “If matters are constantly morally questionable when done by women, but not even morally questioned when done by men – then we, as a society, fundamentally have no morals (sic).”
She shared the quote with a “Good Morning” message.

Reportedly, Samantha was offered Rs 200 crore as alimony by Naga Chaitanya and his family. The actress has refused the same as she doesn’t want to take a penny from him. Her decision to refuse alimony has been applauded by many.
