Two of West Bromwich Albion’s games in December have been rearranged from their previously scheduled dates in order to accommodate television coverage.
The Baggies are one of several teams challenging for promotion to the Premier League and interest in their campaign will see them feature on the telly again.
The side’s trip to Barnsley next month will be shown on Sky Sports on Friday, 17 December, with kick off set to take place at 7.45 pm. The match was originally scheduled to kick off at 3pm the next day.
West Brom will not be playing on Boxing Day this year either, as the team’s meeting with Derby County at Pride Park has been moved to 27 December.
Albion will now meet Wayne Rooney’s men for a 3pm kick-off on the Monday after Christmas as part of a busy festive schedule that will them play three games in seven days.
Hopes of an instant return to the top flight have taken a serious dent in the last month as Valerien Ismael’s charges have lost three of their last five matches, seeing them slip to third place and nine points behind Championship leaders Bournemouth.
